BETHEL SUNDAY FAQ’s

While we await our permanent building, we are currently streaming our services online and meeting in person in an open air style service. Our hope for this page is to give you more information about what to expect on Sundays during this open air season. If you have additional questions, please email us at info@bethelatlanta.com.

  • What should I expect while we are meeting open air?

    What to expect:

We provide chairs and as much shade as we can, but please dress comfortably for outdoor weather. You are welcome to bring an umbrella for shade as well, just be mindful of those around you and try not to block anyone’s view. In the event that we have to cancel our in person service due to weather, we will communicate weekly on Saturday at 6pm via social media and our text alert. Please check our social media if the weather looks questionable. If our in person service is cancelled, you can view our service online.

  • What parking is available at the property?

    Available parking:

The majority of our parking is in a gravel lot several meters away from our meeting area. Please wear shoes you would feel comfortable walking across gravel and other uneven terrains. If there has been recent rain, the parking lot, children’s playground and walkway to the tent can get muddy. We do have very limited handicap parking closer to our meeting area. If you need parking assistance, please alert one of our volunteer parking attendants when you drive in. Please only use the Farr Road entrance to access our property and the Tyrone Road entrance is only for construction vehicles.

  • What childcare options are available on Sundays?

    Childcare options:

In response to guidelines from the governor’s office to churches re-opening, we currently are not offering any childcare on Sunday mornings. Both our Kingdom Tots and Kids programs are on hold and children will remain with their parents during the entire Sunday service. We want every parent to know that we as a team are very excited for this season where we can worship together as families and we do not consider the noise and movement from your kids to be a distraction. We realize this is a part of having children with us in the service and we are thankful that families are going to encounter His presence together.

  • What bathroom facilities are available during this tent season?

    Bathroom options:

We have high-quality portable trailer bathrooms available for everyone on our property.  We also have a handicap accessible bathroom in the Lodge.

  • What to expect in the case of severe weather?

    Weather policy:

During this open-air season, there is a possibility of service cancellations due to weather. We will announce weekly on Saturday at 6 pm via text alert and social media the status of our in-person service. If we must cancel due to weather, we will still stream an online service that you can view via social media or YouTube.
