Malika King

Malika came to Bethel Atlanta approximately six years ago. Just prior to coming to Bethel, she had a deep awareness that there was something in her that needed to be developed and cultivated. She hungered to grow in the prophetic. During the first service, she knew she was home and had found her tribe.

Growing up as a preacher’s kid, Malika knew as a little girl that she was called to ministry, but through life experiences she ran from it until this generational inheritance hunted her down. She has given her full “Yes” to the Lord and is excited to see what God does to unlock this inheritance in her. Her purpose is to free, heal, and empower broken people through counseling, deliverance, and teaching. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a SOZO Minister at Bethel Atlanta and in her private practice, Heart Journey Christian Counseling, LLC. Malika loves partnering with the Holy Spirit to excavate the treasure in people’s soul and spirit. There is no greater honor than to hear someone’s unfiltered story and to help them turn the page to discover the brilliance of the author, the Lover of their soul. She also enjoys teaching on soul health, intimacy with the Lord, authority as a believer, and relationships in the SOZO Aftercare Health Group.

Malika lives with Christopher, her husband of over twenty years and Maleah and Van, their two children. Malika has a true mother’s heart and is affectionately known as a “mother of many”, as she also has three adult stepsons, several adult foster sons, and a few spiritual daughters. In her free time, Malika enjoys laughing with family and friends, cooking, making health concoctions, learning, organizing, and gardening.

Josh and Marina Hill

Josh and Marina married in 2003 after graduating from Elim Bible Institute in upstate New York. They have two amazing daughters, Joscelyn and Elliana. Through these two treasures, they have become fully convinced that children are a “love gift” from Father God. The Hills love each other deeply and enjoy spending time together as a family.

In the spring of 2012, the Hills moved to Atlanta to be a part of the Bethel Atlanta family. They specifically wanted to be immersed in a kingdom culture and raise their family in an environment that was pursuing a love relationship with Jesus and a supernatural lifestyle.

Josh and Marina currently serve as team leaders in Kingdom Kids. They find it such an honor and a joy to be serving your children and being witnesses of their precious hearts being captivated by Jesus. They love to participate in seeing them encounter Jesus, realize how much He loves them and to see them walk in agreement with what He thinks of them. The Hills also serve as Sozo hosts for Bethel Health and enjoy bringing people into encounters with Jesus and receiving freedom.

Joshua Marcengill

Josh graduated with his MBA in 2005 and enjoys serving Bethel Atlanta in an administrative capacity and gathering testimonies. Josh authored the book, ENCOUNTERS Pressing into Your Abundant Heavenly Supply. Josh is also the COO of Bibles for All, a ministry that allows you to buy a book and give a Bible or join the book Club and give bibles all year long. Josh is passionate about missions in Northern India, Bhutan and Nepal.

In 2007 Josh was working for a fortune 500 leadership consulting firm when he had an open vision that changed his life forever. Having encountered the reality of a living God he went looking for answers from the Christian community, gave his life to Jesus, got baptized in the Holy Spirit and later was baptized in the love of the Father. He began praying for signs, wonders, and experiencing supernatural miracles on a regular basis. Healings, deliverance and salvations were common. Finding the Bethel Redding podcast was another monumental life-changing event because he became aware that the supernatural was normal for some cultures. From this time forward Josh began seeking like-minded communities which eventually led him to Bethel Atlanta. Josh completed 3 years of BASSM and graduated in 2017.

Kyle Wishing

Kyle began attending Bethel Atlanta in 2012 when he moved to Atlanta from Murfreesboro, TN. Bethel Atlanta has been home ever since. Kyle has been blessed to meet his wife, Celeste, through a Bethel Atlanta small group and participated in BASSM from 2013-17. The Wishings had their first baby, Nayara Jubilee, in September 2019. Kyle loves tennis, sports and playing the guitar.

Kyle serves on the Bethel Health financial team and provides Financial Sozo ministry. It’s such a pleasure to communicate with God about practical things like finances. When God is speaking into our finances, nothing is off limits. Kyle’s passion is for people to be released into the things that God is calling them to–it is a combination of freedom and responsibility.

Debbie Cannon

Debbie attended Mt. Paran Church of God before coming to Bethel Atlanta, where she did outreach on the streets and prayer walking. Debbie has two daughters, Laura and Ashlie, and 3 grandchildren Braden, Griffin and Katie.

Debbie heard about Bethel Atlanta at a Jesus Culture conference in the summer of 2009 and enrolled in BASSM immediately. She has been part of Bethel Atlanta’s Sozo team since 2011 and has a passion for helping women get out of sex trafficking. Debbie is a sozo host at Bethel Atlanta. She loves partnering with the Holy Spirit to see people set free and truly know in their heart how much their Father loves them.
